Gordon N Battison (d 1968)
NotesGordon Noel Battison was born on Boxing Day 1945. He entered Rutlish in September 1957 and left in July 1964. He was in Spartans and joined the CCF. He died in 1968 aged 22 with his death being registered in the Merton Registration District.
Nigel Close, who was friends with him and his twin sister Angela, says "Gordon died tragically and needlessly by fumes from a faulty gas geyser in a lodging house".
