Notes by Alan Brown
After leaving Rutlish, I served an engineering apprenticeship with ICT and in 1967 joined the staff of Abbey Road Studios. As a technician, I worked on many recording sessions including The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Hollies. I became involved in studio design and installation for Abbey Road and some EMI overseas studios. In later years, I became Facilities Manager at Abbey Road until retiring in 2002. I have been happily married to Rowena since 1972. We live in Ruislip and have two daughters, one of whom recently married an American in Italy. Hobbies are audio, photography, computer graphics and Indian curry.
